Remote Support Not Responding (Desktop)
What it is: A troubleshooting fix for when the Draftworx Desktop Remote Support tool fails to open or connect.
What it's for
If Remote Support is unresponsive or will not launch, another remote-access program — usually TeamViewer — is often running in the background and blocking it. Stopping all TeamViewer processes resolves the conflict.
How to do it
Disable TeamViewer Auto-Start
- Open TeamViewer.
- Uncheck Start TeamViewer with Windows.
- Click Disable to confirm.
Stop All TeamViewer Processes
- Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
- In both the Apps and Background Processes sections, select every TeamViewer entry.
- Click End Task for each one.
Retry Remote Support
- Return to Draftworx Desktop and launch Remote Support again.
